A transit visa isconditional on a stay of no more than 24 hours. A transit visa inCanada is valid for 24 hours. You cannot stay in the city of Torontofor 7 days. If you need to stay in the city of Toronto, you need toapply for a Canadian tourist visa.

If you don't have togo through UK border checks (for example, don't leave the airport anddon't need to pick up luggage), you need to apply for Direct AirsideTransit visa (DATV). The maximum stay is 24 hours.

4. Australia(transit visa required)

Whether or not theyleave the international transit zone, you will need to apply inadvance for a transit visa (category 771) from the Australian Embassyor consulate with a photocopy of your ticket, Passport and a validvisa for your destination (except for visa-free/visa-on-arrival atyour destination), the application process is the same as for anordinary tourist visa, but the transit visa is free.
